Are you looking for a cool dome space frontier base or settlement to add some interest to your sci-fi game board? We present our TechCommander 28 Sci-fi domes – FACILITY DH24 Collection, well suited for the legacy TechCommander 28MM scale games OR for other sci-fi games you might need terrain for.

Our digital sculptor SeaDogBrian originally created a range of 28MM domes as a club freelance project for Doug Houseman and his family’s SGG game club of southeast Michigan. Brian was asked to design a take on the dome space settlement concept. In the sci-fi universe, It’s ‘designed’ to be easily constructed on the frontier by using modular components, and polar 3D building printers. Brian hopes such a facility represents the aspirations and hard work of the space frontier. Ad Aspera Per Aspera! Space really is the final frontier, and so vast that the erstwhile explorers can, if they are willing to struggle and toil to claim a new place set up a settlement without the complications of displacing others as plagued earth in centuries past.

The Dome modules are workable as stand alone pieces, but also as interconnected ones, There are also sets of expansion corridor pieces so you can build out the arms a bit more or even vary the length if you’d like.

These models are all 3D printed in FDM filament printing with SLA detail parts, with a goal of being light and sturdy. All models come unassembled and unpainted.
